Underage Car Thieves Busted

Seymour police helped Derby police catch two underage suspected car thieves Saturday.

The incident began Saturday afternoon on Eighth Street in Derby, where a woman reported two people standing in her driveway near her vehicle, Derby police said.

Derby RTC Endorses Miller for Comptroller

Video Shows Theft From Derby Charity

The St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop and Food Bank posted a video Monday showing a man stealing wallets belonging to two employees.

The theft happened Jan. 29 and was immediately reported to police. It received widespread coverage in the local media.

Victims: We Oppose Court Program For Former Shelton Masseur

A former masseur accused of molesting clients at a Shelton spa applied for a diversionary program that could have seen the charges against him dismissed.

But a Derby Superior Court judge denied the application Friday (Feb. 2) after citing the number of victims — eight — who alleged the masseur, Hyungchan Kim, had violated them.
