There are few topics in this country more polarizing than the discussion of guns and gun crime.
The opinions on both sides are strong and divide cities, communities and even families, but I feel the one side of this topic that we should all be able to agree on is the existing laws are not being enforced. There are over 80 gun laws on the books and after every incident there is a call for more.

Valley school officials voiced support for student-led school “walkouts” planned for Wednesday honoring the victims of last month’s school shooting in Florida.
Seventeen people were killed in the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. Feb. 14.
