Seymour High School Students Stage ‘12 Angry Jurors’

Seymour High School will present Twelve Angry Jurors on April 23 at 7pm and April 24 at 7pm. 

Note: The play will be performed at Seymour Middle School.

Admission cost $10. This play is suitable for all ages middle school and up and will run about 75 minutes with no intermission. 

The play tackles challenging topics about race, income equality, and justice. Many know it as Twelve Angry Men, the 1957 Henry Fonda movie. With a mixed cast it becomes Twelve Angry Jurors.

Twelve Angry Jurors is being directed by sophomore students Brittany Kelly and Taylor Queen. Ms. Kelly and Ms. Queen were both featured in Seussical and Annie at Seymour High School. The play is being produced by faculty advisor Brandt Schneider.

Seniors involved include Yamarri Perry, Matt Moran, and Griffin Gilbertie. Cast includes juniors Corey Marchetti and Dan Robinson. Sophomores in the cast include Galianna Erazo, Ejona Gjata, Taiya Supranovich, Emily Thomas, and Alexis Perry. The cast has one freshman; Abigail Andrade.

This is the first drama presented by Seymour High School in many years. This past year has included two musical productions. In May of 2014 SHS was awarded a HALO award for Seussical.

Twelve Angry Jurors will run at the Seymour Middle School Auditorium, Mountain Rd, Seymour CT 06483. 

The play is being done in the round and will only have 150 tickets available for each performance.
