Ansonia native Ken Tuccio recently launched “The Local Drinking Show” on WTNH.
Episode three tackles “Valley New Year” and features several local watering holes, including Bar None in Derby (owner Matt Krugel is featured) and Porky’s Cafe in Shelton.
Tuccio talks with his buddy, standup comedian Dan Kalwhite about growing up in the Valley, and they discuss some of stereotypes people in the Valley get smacked with.
The episode ends up showcasing “Valley New Year” (the night before Thanksgiving, for those uninitiated) as a mini-economic driver because now people come from all over the area to experience it.
