Speakers include Cassetti and Ansonia Police Chief Kevin Hale.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH of Ansonia takes great pride in hosting an event called HONORING OUR ANSONIA BLUE for the first time, but we hope it will become an annual tradition to bring the Community together with Law Enforcement to honor them and show our appreciation for the risks they willingly take each and every day to ensure our safety. PLEASE JOIN US IN GIVING THEMGREAT TURN OUT & SHOW OF SUPPORT TO LET THEM KNOW HOW MUCH WE CARE AND APPRECIATE THEIR SERVICE AND THE RISKS THEY TAKE EVERY DAY FOR US

While we enjoy the safety in our own homes with our loved ones that Ansonia Law Enforcement provides, every police officer who puts on their badge each day knows there is a chance they may not return home to their loved ones that night. However, that risk to protect us, has become an increased reality in light of more recent events as we face not just crime but terrorism and our officers have actually become targets. We acknowledge their risk and bravery and want to come together for ONE day as ONE community to support and honor them and let them know how much they are appreciated by the citizens of Ansonia.
