RE: Healey Ford Property
520 Main Street
Ansonia, CT

Dear Attorney Levine,

I am in receipt of a letter recently sent to you by the Mayor of the City of Ansonia concerning conditions at Healy Ford Property. In connection with that letter I am respectfully offering my time to lead a team of volunteers in a clean-up project at the premises.

It is my intent to access the grounds to do general landscaping maintenance. This would consist of weeding and the removal of invasive growth using ordinary household

yard tools. I anticipate just a few hours of work on a Saturday morning. I am happy to cooperate with any documentation that may be required to perform this simple task,

such as a liability waiver.

While I agree with the Mayor that it your client’s responsibility to maintain the premises, I believe that government should concentrate on solving problems rather than complaining about them. I believe that simple communication and cooperation can be the solutions to the problem here.

Healy Ford was an institution in Ansonia for more than 50 years. While the loss of the dealership saddens me greatly, I am determined to see the relationship between Ansonia and Ford end on a high note. Further, I look forward to the day when the business atmosphere in Ansonia improves enough to allow for Ford’s return.

Thank you for your consideration.

Regards,

David Cassetti
