Ansonia Police: Be On The Lookout For Domestic Violence Suspect

FACEBOOK PHOTOAnsonia police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who allegedly held a woman at knifepoint and assaulted her over the weekend.

Police have an arrest warrant to charge the man, 38-year-old Justin Nicholas Bohn, with second-degree kidnapping, second-degree assault, second-degree strangulation, second-degree threatening, and interfering with an emergency call.

In a prepared statement, Lt. Andrew Cota said the charges related to a violent domestic incident” that began Saturday (July 23) and ended Sunday (July 24).

Police were made aware of the incident Monday, Cota said.

The female victim was held against her will, threatened at knife point, physically assaulted, and choked to the point of losing consciousness during the course of the incident,” Cota said.

Bohn has an address on Winter Street. He’s about six-foot-one, 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

If you know the location of Bohn or see him, please contact your local police department or the Ansonia Police Department,” Cota said.

It is unknown where Justin Bohn is at this time and we are asking the public to be on the look-out,” Cota said. Do not approach Bohn as he is considered dangerous.”
