Marjorie Lane celebrated her 100th birthday Saturday (April 18) at Hewitt Memorial in Shelton.
She has been a resident of Ansonia all her life, and Ansonia Mayor David Cassetti stopped by to wish Lane well.
Ansonia’s Pam Potter sent the Valley Indy the picture to the left with the following comments:
She was so touched by the mayor coming and presenting her with a beautiful bouquet of roses that she cried. She’s a pleasure to be with and someone I am blessed to know.
