Incoming Ansonia Rotary Club President Lori Veillette presented a check for $250 to TEAM Elderly Services Director Suzanne Reilly at a recent lunch meeting at Crave Restaurant.
The Meals on Wheels program at TEAM Inc. has had to institute a wait list due to cuts in state funding and an increase in the demand for services. The funds will provide small relief for a few months according to Ms. Reilly.
The Rotary Club’s gift is part of its civic engagement program. The Club meets Tuesdays at Crave and welcomes interested members of the public to experience Rotary.
