A grand opening celebration for Ansonia’s “winter playground” at Linett Park is scheduled for Jan. 7 at noon.
The park is located off Crowley Street.
“We encourage kids and adults to come on out and enjoy this free family-friendly winter activity. And while here, please be safe, responsible, courteous to others, and have FUN!” Mayor David Cassetti said in a prepared statement.
