The popular Commodore Hull Thanksgiving Day 5k Road Race has once again sold out with less than a month to go.
This is the 14th Annual running of the event which has raised over $140,000 for the Lower Naugatuck Valley Boys and Girls Club.
Although the race is closed for registering to run it is never closed to those who would like to participate as a volunteer.
We could use people to stuff “goodie bags”, set up and breakdown race, guide runners on the course, do you like to take photos or videos, we could use your help with that as well or even come on down to Shelton Riverwalk or along the race route to cheer on the runners.
The race starts and finishes at the Shelton Farmer’s Market/Riverwalk 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning.
