Derby firefighters will once again be delivering turkeys the area residents in need this Thanksgiving.
Volunteers will gather Wednesday morning at the Paugassett Hook and Ladder Co. 4, 57 Derby Ave. to begin cooking 63 Thanksgiving meals.
At about 2 p.m. the firefighters will start delivering the meals, using fire trucks to transport.
In previous years the Paugies teamed with Meals on Wheels and the Derby Housing Authority to create the list of recipients.
