Chaz & AJ Facebook PageDerby government’s poor editing skills are being turned into a positive thanks to radio guys Chaz and AJ.

Chaz, a Shelton native, posted photos of a misspelled sign on his morning radio show’s Facebook page about 6:13 a.m. Thursday.

The sign looks like it was put together by an intoxicated person, given the misspelling.

Here’s the post:

But Chaz-z- — and DPW Director Anthony DeFala — are turning it into a positive. He is putting the signs up for auction, presumably with the cooperation of the City of Derby.

The highest three bidders will get the signs — yes, there are three of ‘em — and proceeds will benefit the radio duo’s massive annual charity toy drive.

Deadline is Friday morning, see the post for more info.

This isn’t Derby’s first misspelling, and Lord knows we have typos, too (such as misspelling Chaz).
