The following information was sent by the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop and Food Bank in Derby:
The response to St Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop & Food Bank and the Shelton Volunteer Fire Departments’ joint Food and New Clothing Drive for Texas has been a huge success due to the incredible generosity of so many caring individuals, churches and businesses in the Valley.
So we are trying for two trucks to be driven to Texas at the end of this week.
What this huge effort needs now is funds for fueling the two trucks on the round trip journey!
We have an estimate of $8,000.
Please help us power these trucks to the great state of TEXAS!

ST. JOSEPH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GYM, Elm St, Shelton: Tuesday 9/5 through Friday 9/8, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Tuesday 9/5 through Friday 9/8, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at each of the four Shelton fire stations.
