Echo Hose Hook and Ladder Company #1 will be donning Santa suits instead of turnout gear as we arrive with lights and sirens at your front door with Santa on board!

The 6th Annual “Santa Helpers” Fundraiser is open to all Shelton residents and will take place Sunday Dec. 16 to Sunday Dec. 23.

Parents please bring a small gift wrapped in brown paper with the child’s name and address clearly printed on the outside to “Santa Helpers” at 379 Coram Ave. — a form to fill out and submit with the gift is embedded at the end of this story.

Collections will be every Sunday starting on Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Collection of gifts will end on Dec. 16.

A donation of $10 per gift for the first 2 gifts and $5 for each additional gift per household will be collected at time of drop-off at “Santa’s Helper.”

Santa along with his helpers will then deliver the gifts between Dec. 16 and Dec. 23 between 5 and 9 p.m.

Scheduling is on a first come, first serve basis — We reserve the right to reschedule deliveries to optimize the delivery route or in case of a Fire Emergency.

For more information, contact the Firehouse at 203-924-4200 or Treasurer Max Aulet at 203-589-3009.
