Live (At One Point) From Derby, It’s The Board Of Aldermen!

The Derby Board of Aldermen/Alderwomen held a monthly meeting May 10 and The Valley Indy livestreamed it on Facebook.

It was a relatively routine meeting, with updates on the city’s takeover of the former VARCA building on Coon Hollow Road, and a concern from a member of the public about the city switching health plans.

The city elected leaders briefly talked about establishing a tax-incentive program to make Derby more attractive to investors. That issue should be discussed more at the next monthly meeting.

The video is about 52 minutes long. Click play to watch, and click the volume button for sound. Don’t click play on the top image, because that’s just a photograph to appease the Facebook Gods.
