The Derby Red Raiders lost to the Shelton Gaels 27 – 21 during a Thanksgiving morning football game, so Derby Mayor Anthony Staffieri must sing LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It” in front of a crowd at a toy drive Friday, Dec. 7 at the Webster Bank Arena.
Staffieri and Lauretti bet on the Derby-Shelton game under the watchful eyes of wacky morning radio DJs Chazz and A.J. of WPLR.
The mayors appeared in the studio Monday morning. Staffieri practiced singing the tune, making a terrible song that much worse.
The Chaz & AJ Executive Auto Group Toy Drive is Dec. 7 from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Webster Bank Arena.
