Support the Seymour budget? Think it's highway robbery? Or maybe you just love ballots. In any case, participate... http://t.co/kTWOwWtMUa

Ansonia — Tickets are now on sale for the 3rd Annual “Men Who Cook” fundraiser dinner being held on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. at Warsaw Park, Pulaski Highway, Ansonia.
Over sixty men from the surrounding Valley Community will cook their favorite dishes including appetizers, salads, soups, side dishes, entrees and desserts.
A Valley Men Who Cook Cookbook that includes recipes of the chefs will be available for purchase.
The evening will include dinner (sampling of all dishes), open bar (wine, beer & soda), a silent auction and dancing entertainment by the Rubber City Blues Band.
In addition, viewing of the basketball playoffs on a 50” wide screen television will be available for the basketball enthusiasts. The television will be raffled at the end of the evening.
David J. Grant of David Grant Caterers and Charles Sullivan of John J. Sullivan’s Restaurant are event chairpersons.
The Main Marquee sponsor is Naugatuck Valley Savings & Loan Bank.
Diane Stroman, TEAM, Vice President of Development states “The event over the past two year’s led by Charlie and Dave has been a major success for TEAM. Over 475 people filled Warsaw Park last year and we expect a greater crowd this year. Seats are limited so anyone planning to attend should purchase their tickets early by calling TEAM or contacting a chef.”
“No tickets will be sold at the door. We have a large group of diverse men who have signed up to be a part of this unique fundraiser many who have been involved since the inception of the event.”
“We have a fun filled evening planned, this year we included a live entertainment “The Rubber City Blues Band” and extended the event an additional hour. We hope the community will come out and support us again this year. We are still in need of event sponsors. You can become a Silver Plate Sponsor for $1,000, a Bronze Plate Sponsor for $500 or a Blue Plate Sponsor for $250. In addition we need auction items for the silent auction. All proceeds from the fundraiser will support programs sponsored by TEAM.”
