The Valley Community Foundation has moved into new office space on Elizabeth Street in Derby.

The VCF officers were previously in Shelton, where Robert Scinto had donated office space for the past six years.

The group is now renting newly renovated space from the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, in the carriage house on the same property at 253-A Elizabeth St.

The building was formerly used for residential space.

The Valley Community Foundation gave tours of the new space before a press conference Monday, at which the group announced its newest endowment fund to benefit the Sterling Opera House in Derby.

The Sterling Opera House Endowment Fund is the first one the Valley Community Foundation added in its new office.

The group moved on Dec. 1.

The new number at the office is (203) 751-9162.
