Pets And Seymour Firefighters Join Forces For A Cause

The Seymour Fire Department teamed with a nonprofit animal rescue in town to produce a calendar that will raise money for the nonprofit.

The 2018 calendar features Seymour firefighters along with dogs and cats from Coco’s Animal Rescue Efforts of Seymour,” a volunteer organization that operates an animal shelton at 115 Silvermine Road in Seymour.

Timm Willis, the deputy Seymour Fire Marshal and the public relations officer for the Seymour Fire Department, appeared on Navel Gazing,” Monday to talk about the calendar.

In addition, Seymour First Selectman Kurt Miller stopped by to take questions from Valley Indy readers and to give updates on a number of town issues, including Tri-Town Plaza, an underdeveloped shopping center off Route 8.
