Ansonia police are trying to determine who shot a gun outside an East Main Street nightclub late Saturday.
No one was shot, according to police.
Ansonia Police Lt. Andrew Cota said in an email that officers responded to Savor Lounge on East Main Street Saturday night on a report of a “large fight.”
Police took a man into custody on breach of peace and interfering charges.
“While we were taking the male into custody officers heard one gunshot outside of the building,” Cota said. “We were unable to locate anyone outside the club with any gunshot wounds.”
The case remains under investigation, Cota said.
