Construction began this week to construct a walking trail near downtown Seymour.
As a result, lane closures started Monday for motorists on Route 67 approaching the Route 8 ramps across from Barone’s, a sports bar.
The construction at that spot will last two weeks or so, depending on the weather, Seymour First Selectman Kurt Miller said.
The trail has been in the planning stages for years.
