Shelton Police Arrest Burglary Suspect

Police arrested a 24-year-old Shelton man on burglary charges Friday.

Robert Murhamer of Shelton was arrested after police obtained a warrant, according to information sent by Shelton police.

Murhamer is a suspect in a residential burglary in Shelton. He is also a suspect in home break-ins in Derby, Seymour and Middlebury.

Shelton police charged him with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny.

He was being held on a $50,000 bond pending a Jan. 17 court date.

More arrests are expected.
