Shelton Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading has elected its 2012 executive board.
Tim Monteleone returns for a second term as League President. Jody Bednarz has also been re-elected Secretary of the League. New officers for 2012 include Matt Civale – Vice President, Mike Boyce – Vice President, and Brian Pagluiso – Treasurer.
“After substantial growth in membership last year, 2012 looks to be a banner year for both football and cheerleading” says Monteleone. “The Pop Warner board has reached capacity which is proof of the commitment shown by families that are involved in the program.”
While participants in the Pop Warner program are taught about the values of competition, they also must maintain their grades at a satisfactory level in order to participate.
Banquets for Football and Cheerleading are scheduled for January 13th and January 20th respectively. This year’s banquets will take place at the Stone Barn in Monroe.
