State Police Ask For Help Locating Missing Oxford Man

State Police detectives assigned to Western District Major Crime (WDMC) are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Oxford man. 

State Police detectives issued a Silver Alert for John Jack” Fairhurst in January 2016 after he was reported missing by family and friends. WDMC detectives and troopers have been investigating and following leads into the whereabouts of Jack Fairhurst, however his whereabouts remain unknown.

In February 2016 Jack’s vehicle was discovered abandoned at the South Norwalk railway commuter lot. 

John Jack” C. Fairhurst was last seen in January 2016 in Southbury, CT. Jack is described as a 55 year old white male, approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall, 190 – 200 pounds, with greying hair. 

Jack was employed by Costco in Brookfield and SB Church Company in Oxford.
