Rubber Ducky Reading Club
Children ages 0 – 4 and their families are invited to join a special self-paced Rubber Ducky Reading Club at the Plumb Memorial Library and the Huntington Branch Library. Preschoolers are rewarded for completing literacy-based activities at home. Families can register and turn in their monthly logs at either library. The Club runs from June 1- August 31. There is no online registration- IN PERSON ONLY. “Emojine” a Summer at the Library!
The Plumb Memorial Library and Huntington Branch Libraries in Shelton CT invite children in Grades K‑6 to participate in our emoji themed Summer Reading Program “Emojine” a Summer at the Library! The Program runs from June 16-August 3. Kids keep track of their reading time to earn small prizes and free books. In addition, they enter drawings for exciting larger prizes.
Hip Hop Dance Party Kick Off with DJ Austin Dailey
The fun kick off starts with a Hip Hop Dance Party with DJ Austin Dailey at the Shelton Community Center Gym on Saturday, June 16 at 10:30 am. Kids of all ages and their parents and caregivers are invited to participate. Registration is required for children of all ages and their families. It begins on June 2. TEEN SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Teens in Grades 7 – 12 are invited to join the TEEN SUMMER READING PROGRAM. It runs from June 16-August 3. Participants will be rewarded with tickets for exciting prize drawings!
