Ansonia police have identified the victim of Wednesday’s shooting as 17-year-old Marquvios Mullins, of 125 Olson Drive.
Mullins suffered a single gunshot wound to the ribs, and was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital. He was listed in serious condition on Wednesday night.
Police are looking for a suspect who was described as a black male in his late teens or early 20s, last seen wearing dark color clothing and possibly dark color hat.
Police said they responded to the Riverside Apartments on Olson Drive at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
They found Mullins lying on the ground near 106 Olson Drive.
Ansonia Police Lt. Andrew Cota said the shooting happened after a fight involving about five people.
