Ansonia police released the following information regarding Roy Tidmarsh’s funeral services:
Due to a large wake and funeral being held at the First United Methodist Church at 47 Franklin Street on Friday January 29 – 2016 and Saturday January 30, 2016 the roadway will be closed between Jackson street and Wakelee Avenue.
On Friday Franklin Street will be closed from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Only residents and funeral traffic will be allowed entry. All funeral and resident traffic will need to enter from the intersection of Franklin Street and Jackson Street. Southbound traffic will not be allowed at any point.
On Saturday the same rules will apply but the hours will be from 9:00 am until 1200 noon.
Officers will be posted in the area to assist with detours and traffic.
