On Friday, December 1st at 6 p.m., community members are invited to the Rotary Pavilion at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Downtown Shelton.

Join us for our Annual Community Tree Lighting featuring performances by the Shelton Intermediate School Choir and Susanna Wesley School students.

There will be free hot cocoa and holiday cookies provided by the Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley’s Keystone Club. After the tree lighting, Santa will arrive on Shelton’s own Echo Hose Firetruck at 7 p.m., and all children are encouraged to meet with Santa and take a photo.

The Community Tree Lighting is sponsored by Celebrate Shelton, City of Shelton, Center Stage Theatre and The Valley Community Foundation. We hope you can join us for the Community Tree Lighting, and shop local all holiday season.

Celebrate Shelton, a city-wide initiative, was created by small business owners – Nicole Mikula, Michael Skrtic and Jimmy Tickey.
