The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the formation of a new Marketing Council.

They are looking for the creative juices behind Valley area business.

Graphic designers, printers, copywriters, photographers, PR pros, webmasters, social media gurus. You get the idea.

Anyone in the creative marketing industry is invited to join them on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. for cash bar and free appetizers and to learn more about the new Marketing Council.

The primary mission of The Greater Valley Chamber Marketing Council is to showcase the full range of marketing and creative talent throughout the Valley while providing a venue to its members to network, educate and collaborate, facilitating an exchange of knowledge amongst those that participate in the marketing field as a living.

The marketing council stands to be a forum for creative professionals to gain exposure, discuss the state of the industry, and seek input from their peers,” stated Andrew Venditti, Jr, of 203 Photography and Chairman of the Council’s Steering Committee. With technology changing daily, the marketing field has taken on a new, never seen before form. The time is right for the business community to have a resource to turn to for help and education,”

Other members of the Steering Committee include: Dan Zaniewski, 203 Communications, William DeRosa and Erik Granato of Talking Finger, Harry Burlakoff of Minuteman Press of Shelton, Dawn Brucale of The Indigo Group and Amy Fitzgerald of Basement Systems.
