William M. “Buff” Hart

William M. “Buff” Hart, age 69, a lifelong resident of the Ansonia community, peacefully entered into eternal rest on January 31, 2018, at the St. Raphael Campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital.

He was the beloved and devoted husband of forty-four years to Barbara Fasciano Hart.

Mr. Hart was born in Derby on July 29, 1948, son of the late William B. and Marion Sullivan Hart.

He graduated from Ansonia High School in 1966 and the CT School of Electronics in 1969.

Bill was employed as a computer maintenance operations manager for AT&T for 45 years until his retirement. He was a 48-year active member of Webster Hose Co. #3 and a social member of Eagle Hose Co. #6.

Since 1971, he was Superintendent of Fire Alarms for the City of Ansonia.

In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by loving sons, William C. Hart (Theresa) of McKinney, TX and Ryan M. Hart (Heather) of Ansonia, a loving daughter, Courtney L. Hart of Ansonia, cherished granddaughter, Reagan Elizabeth Hart, sister, Madelyn Kozey of Old Saybrook, mother-in-law, Zena Ragaini Fasciano of Ansonia, brothers-in-law, Charles Fasciano (Anne) of FL and David Fasciano of Ansonia and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by a brother, William B. Hart, a sister, Marilyn Hart and a niece, Suellen McCuin.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday February 5, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.

On Tuesday, his funeral will take place at 10 a.m. (PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY) at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial.

Interment will immediately follow in the family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
