Insurance policy experts from the health care industry and state officials weigh in on Connecticut’s proposed health insurance rate increases.
Sen. Kevin Kelly (R‑21), Rep. Jason Perillo (R‑113) and Rep. Ben McGorty (R‑122) are hosting an informational forum on Connecticut’s proposed health insurance rate increases.
The forum will take place on Monday Aug. 1, 2016 from 6 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. at the Shelton Senior Center, 81 Wheeler St.
The event will feature a panel discussion with guest speakers including insurance and health care policy experts from the Office of Healthcare Advocate, the CT Association of Health Care Plans and the Yankee Institute. The public will also have an opportunity to ask questions.
Planned topics of discussion include the causes and effects of proposed insurance rate changes and changes in the health care industry.
