Wrapping up last year’s Commodore Hull Thanksgiving Day 5k Race and getting ready for Thanksgiving Day 2014, race committee representatives Glenn Gaetano and Tom Wilson, along with major race sponsor Jeanne Connors of Greco and Haines of Derby, were on hand recently to make a check presentation to Shaye Roscoe, Director of the Lower Naugatuck Valley Boys and Girls Club.
This check presentation was for $15,000 bringing the total raised since 2002 to over $125,000.
Registration for this year’s race will open next week (Sept. 1) and will sell out quickly.
