Ansonia Budget Meeting Moved To High School

An Ansonia Aldermen’s meeting Tuesday to set the city’s budget for next year will take place at the high school, not City Hall as originally scheduled.

There will also be a brief community update” at the beginning of the meeting during which officials will discuss a threat made Monday against the city’s public schools.

The update concerns the recent reported threatening incident that occurred yesterday afternoon. In an effort to keep you informed and our children safe, this update will provide you with the latest information available,” Mayor David Cassetti said in a prepared statement. Please make every effort to attend this important update, and of course, the special meeting of the Board of Aldermen regarding the budget.”

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

The high school is at 20 Pulaski Highway.
