Ansonia Cops Break Up Party After Noise Complaints

Ansonia police broke up a party that brought hundreds to Central Street Saturday.

In an email, Lt. Patrick Lynch said police received noise complaints about a private party at the Polish Falcon Hall, 108 Central St.

There was a private party at Falcon Hall that was spillover from spring weekend festivities at SCSU (Southern Connecticut State University),” Lynch said. We received noise complaints, found the party to be over the occupancy of the hall and shut the party down.”

Two drunk people were taken to the hospital to get checked out.

No arrests were made.

Officers at the scene estimated there were about 600 people there, Lynch said.

The hall has an occupancy limit of 400.
