Ansonia Honors Teen For Getting Food To Needy Families

Ansonia resident Sean Coyle is one busy teenager.

A student at Emmett O’Brien Technical School, he’s also a junior member of Ansonia Rescue Medical Services and American Legion Post 174, and also takes time to serve in the Coast Guard Auxiliary.

And beyond that, he worked diligently with the local Catholic War Veterans to identify and provide food to 25 local veterans’ families over the Fourth of July holiday.

Remember that the next time you feel like complaining about your busy day.

Ansonia officials honored Coyle Tuesday (July 8) at the monthly meeting of the Board of Aldermen.

Mayor David Cassetti read a proclamation honoring Coyle.

Thank you on behalf of all the residents of the City of Ansonia for your invaluable service,” Cassetti said.
