Ashley Preneta, an art teacher from Ansonia’s Mead School, sent the Valley Indy these pictures of a project students from the school recently completed. She writes:
Students from Mead Elementary School were selected to paint windows in downtown Ansonia last Friday. The students selected to paint are in grades four through six.
Students painted the windows of Olderman & Hallihan Agency Inc. located at 400 Main St.
Students worked together to create holiday artwork displayed on the windows.
The artwork ranges from snowmen to Christmas trees.
It was a wonderful experience for students to show their artistic abilities and be part of the community.
