There is a cut-a-thon and after-party Saturday in Seymour to support “Seymour Pink,” a grassroots effort to raise money to help battle breast cancer.

EnV Hair Lounge and Wig Center is hosting its third-annual Cut-a-Thon on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It’s $20 for a shampoo and haircut.
There will also be plaza specials, vendors and information booths.
“But a chance to win fabulous prizes donated by local businesses and families,” the flier for the event reads.
A mobile medical bus will be providing mammogram screenings from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

After your styling, mosey on over to the Pub 67 Tap Room, also in Oxmour Plaza.
Pub 67 is sponsoring a “knock out breast cancer” after party.
It starts at 6 p.m.
There is a $10 donation/cover to get in.
There will be drink specials a “pink” costume contest and chances to win prizes.
Food is being provided by the Brookside Inn and Freckled Frosting.
There will be a ton of live music, too, with the Toigo Band, The Elwoods and the FSO Band.
“All proceeds to benefit Seymour Pink,” according to the flier.
