Derby Pop Warner would like to congratulate the recipients of the Southern Connecticut Pop Warner (SCPW) scholarships.
SCPW awarded the scholarships at their June meeting.
Of the twenty two scholarships awarded, six were given to former participants in the Derby Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading program.
The scholarship recipients are Elizabeth Bailey, Alisha Cusano, Brian Dobek, Collin Haydu, Raymond Kreiger, and Abbey Monaco.
Scholarships are available to participants who are in a Pop Warner program for at least three years and applicants are required to submit an essay about their experience in the program.
