A special thanks for your continued support and to all those who attended our Derby Republican Town Committee Cinco de Mayo celebration/fundraiser on Tuesday, May 3 at the Sons of Italy in Derby.

Following the theme of a typical cinco de mayo celebration, attendees were given the chance to loosen their ties and let down their hair in exchange for sombrero’s and poncho’s.

From the delicious food from Hot Tamales to the wonderful and always inviting staff of la Sala Catering, the event was a huge success.

Among those in attendance were Ansonia Mayor David Cassetti, State Republican Party Treasurer Chuck Pyne, and candidate for State Senate, in the 17th District, George Logan.

In this election year, it is more crucial than ever that we continue the political momentum that we have built over the last year, not only here in Derby, but at the state and national levels.
