Derby: Take This Online Survey To Help Regional Planning Efforts

We are working hard daily to implement Derby’s downtown master development plan.

The community-driven plan, adopted by Derby’s Planning and Zoning Commission, reflects the vision of Derby residents and capitalizes on its location along the Route 8 corridor which includes the Waterbury Branch Rail Line.

Quite often the success of a project of this scale requires collaboration between many different entities.

We are privileged to be working in parallel with the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG) as they take a broader look at transportation and development opportunities along the Route 8/Waterbury Branch Rail Line corridor.

The community has been asked to provide input so Derby’s needs will be reflected in the planning and recommendations derived from NVCOGs current study. To capture this input, a brief online survey has been prepared.

The survey can be accessed by clicking on the following link:

I strongly encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the survey in order to make our collective voice heard. Your prompt reply would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support.

Warmest wishes for a joyous holiday season and a healthy New Year!
