On Saturday Jamar Smith, a 21-year-old Derby man for whom Shelton police had an arrest warrant, was charged after a motor vehicle stop in Bridgeport, police said in a prepared statement.

Cops have charged a total of five people in connection to the stabbing, which occurred outside a party May 2. Police said no further arrests are expected.
