American Legion Emil Senger Post 10 and Catholic War Veterans St. Michael Post 1562 are honoring the “Four Chaplains” of the U.S. Army Transport Dorchester, a transport ship that was torpedoed by a German U‑boat in 1943.
The four chaplains comforted, inspired and guided the men as the ship sank.

The service will be at St Michael’s Church, 75 Derby Ave. in Derby.
