Griffin Hospital Valley Parish Nurse Program Receives Donation

On behalf of the National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation, Curtiss Ryan Honda, and the Connecticut Auto Retailers Association, a CPR training unit was recently presented to Griffin Hospital’s Parish Nurse Program.

The unit will be used at the hospital’s CPR Training Center, which provides free and reduced price CPR training to the community.

The unit was purchased through the Medical Grants Program of the National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation, which has devoted a great part of its resources to emergency CPR training.

Edward DeMarseilles, chief operating officer, of Curtiss Ryan Honda, presented the CPR training unit along with James Fleming, president of the Connecticut Auto Retailers Association, and Curtiss Ryan Honda President Richard Foehrenbach.

With the help of the NADA Foundation and CARA, we sought to give back to our community,” DeMarseilles said. We know that these CPR training units will help save lives and give comfort and security to those trained.”

The Griffin Hospital Valley Parish Nurse Program trains thousands of Valley residents each year.
