Lighting Company Building New Oxford Facility

XAL proudly announces an expansion of it Oxford, Connecticut operations.

XAL will complete construction of a new facility located at 150 Hawley Road. At 48,000 square feet this facility will quadruple the manufacturing capacity of its USA operations.

This facility will also feature a product showroom that provides lighting designers and architects a close-up look at our products and the ability to see them in different applications. R&D and Sales efforts will also be substantially increased with this expansion.

XAL is proud to become an even bigger part of the Connecticut community by hiring local people into a rapidly growing company with excellent career opportunities. XAL Inc. employees approximately 60 people across North America. The company started operations in the USA in 2008 and is currently operating at 3 Morse Road in Oxford.

It designs, develops and produces products meeting or exceeding the highest standards in Lighting Industry. As the leader in innovative architectural lighting systems XAL lights the way in a growing market with energy efficient LED lighting systems. 

Headquartered in Graz, Austria, XAL was founded by Andreas and Claudia Hierzer in 1989. Over 1200 employees currently work in operations at 16 different sites in seven countries, supporting sales, development, production and marketing of products. Major subsidiaries are located in New York, Munich, Zurich, London, amongst others. 

Our production facilities are in the USA, Slovenia, India, and China. XAL is connected to its sales partners through our international network. The USA headquarters, located in New York City, became incorporated in 2001.
