St. Mary – St. Michael’s School’s Eighth Annual Housy River Duck Race was Saturday during the city’s annual Derby Day celebration.
Tickets were sold to the public to sponsor rubber ducks.
The ducks were then dropped into the Housatonic River from the Derby-Shelton bridge. They “raced” down the river.
The event raised money for the St. Mary-St. Michael School and several area nonprofit groups.
