Man Accused Of Inappropriate Contact With Boy In Shelton

Shelton police charged a 34-year-old man with two misdemeanors after he allegedly stuck his finger in his mouth and then stuck it in the ear of a 4‑year-old boy” in the waiting area of a local business.

Police described the man, Michael Migani, as homeless.

The incident occurred about 3 p.m. Tuesday in the waiting room of an Center Street business police did not identify in a prepared statement. The boy was playing with his mother at the time.

Upon being confronted by the mother and staff, the man fled in his vehicle and was stopped by Shelton Police and identified as Migani,” the statement said. After further investigation Migani was arrested.”

Migani was charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree reckless endangerment and released on a $500 bond.

He is scheduled to appear at Superior Court in Derby Aug. 19.
