Most-Read Stories Of The Week

The Valley Indy returns Monday with a podcast interview with Jack Walsh, a man who wears many hats in the lower Valley.

We interview him in his capacity as chairman of the Derby Water Pollution Control Authority, an appointed, volunteer position.

In 2014, voters approved spending $31.2 million to repair and upgrade the city’s sewer system. The work includes replacing pipes, and replacing three new pump stations.

In Monday’s interview, Walsh gives a status update on those projects, and talks about when Derby residents will be paying for the projects.

In the meantime, here’s a list of the stories you read the most this week on ValleyIndy.org.

This week’s list is sponsored by The Kennedy Center Inc., a nationally recognized community rehabilitation agency.

The Kennedy Center is hiring. See the embedded image below for more information, or click here for a larger view.
