The Great Give is an annual online fundraiser for hundreds of nonprofit organizations in the region, including many that are based in the Naugatuck Valley.
The Valley Indy, itself a nonprofit, uses The Great Give as its annual reader drive. This year the publication’s goal is to raise $10,000 in 36 hours, starting 8 a.m. May 1.
In an effort to raise awareness about The Great Give — and to encourage people to get involved — The Valley Indy will be live streaming from its office in Ansonia.
