New Art Display At Kellogg Environmental Center

The collected works of Connecticut artists are on display at the Kellogg Environmental Center, 500 Hawthorne Ave. in Derby, through March 14.

A closing reception and meet the artist gathering will take place on March 14 from 10 a.m. until noon. 

The public is welcome to attend and meet the artists. Paintings include still lives, portraits, and landscapes.

The artists are students of Eileen Smith, an accomplished watercolor artist from Bristol, who has studied under the Terry James Art Studio in Oxford for many years. 

She is a lifelong learner participating in ongoing classes at the Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven, The Guilford Handcraft Center and Amity adult art classes.

The art gallery at the Kellogg Environmental Center is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. now through March 14th. 

There is no charge.
